If our desired number is already booked by someone else, we can still participate in the bidding process. The bidding is conducted online through the Parivahan Fancy Number Portal every week, starting from Saturday at 4:00 PM and concluding on Monday at 10:30 AM.
After fancy number booking, it is essential to check the status of our number to determine if it has moved to the bidding stage. This ensures clarity on whether we need to participate in the auction.
During the bidding period, we can place our bids in multiples of Rs.1000. Payment is required only if we win the bid.
